In the work of ministry, few things are as encouraging as finding kindred spirits—brothers and sisters who share not only the same faith but the same passion for serving the next generation. During our recent travels, we had the profound privilege of connecting with just such a community in the heart of the Czech Republic. We are pleased to share a moment of gratitude and reflection following our recent visit to the Baptist Union of the Czech Republic (Bratrská jednota baptistů) . A Warm Welcome in Prague On behalf of Kingdom Education Mission Euro ry (KEME), we extend our heartfelt thanks to General Secretary Jan Jackanič for the generous hospitality, valuable time, and warm welcome extended to us during our meeting and church visit. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with openness and genuine Christian kindness. It was clear that this was more than a formal meeting—it was a gathering of fellow laborers in the field of God's kingdom. A Sanctuary of Inspiration We were given the opportunity to tour the inspiring sanctuary—a space that not only reflects the rich history of the Baptist Union but also stands as a testament to their ongoing commitment to worship, community, and outreach. Walking through its halls, we could feel the prayers offered and the lives touched within those walls. Conversations with Purpose The heart of our visit, however, lay in the constructive discussions we shared. Together with General Secretary Jan Jackanič, we explored shared opportunities for collaboration that could bear fruit for years to come. Our conversation focused particularly on supporting Kachin youth through: · Summer youth camp programmes that provide spiritual growth, fellowship, and life skills · Educational initiatives that empower young people for a brighter future · Spiritual development opportunities that ground them in faith and purpose It was inspiring to find such alignment in our visions for youth ministry and community development. A Partnership Blessed by Christ We are deeply grateful for this opportunity and for the fellowship extended in Christ. These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do—because when we come together across cultures and countries, united by a common faith and a common mission, the impact is multiplied. As we look ahead, we are excited about what this partnership may bring. Together, we believe we can create meaningful experiences for young people that will shape not just their futures, but the future of entire communities.
