Note: Donations are generally non-refundable and do not require a claim form unless exceptional circumstances apply.

3.2 Supporting Documents

You must attach the following documents where applicable:

  • Medical certificate (if requesting a refund due to illness or emergency)

Incomplete submissions may result in processing delays or denial of the request.

Once your Refund Claim Form is received, the following timeline applies:

6.1 Grounds for Approval

A refund request may be approved if:

  • The request is submitted in accordance with the applicable refund policy (KEME Terms or institution’s policy)
  • All required information and supporting documents are provided
  • The request falls within the permitted cancellation or refund window
  • The program was cancelled by KEME
6.2 Grounds for Denial

A refund request may be denied if:

  • The request is submitted after the cancellation deadline
  • Required supporting documents are missing or incomplete
  • The refund does not align with the institution’s refund policy (for school/university fees)
  • The request is for a non-refundable donation or administrative fee
  • The participant was removed from a program due to misconduct

If your request is denied, we will provide a written explanation and, where possible, guidance on next steps.

  1. Contact us within 14 days of receiving the denial notice
  2. Provide additional information or documentation that supports your appeal
  3. Submit your appeal in writing to info@keme.fi with the subject line: Appeal – Refund Denial – [Your Name]

Appeals will be reviewed by a designated staff member not involved in the original decision. You will receive a final decision within 14 business days.

All information submitted through the Refund Claim Form is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our Privacy Policy. Your data is used solely for:
